It Started with a Better Dash Mount
Leather & Dirt began with a J200 Lexus LX and a simple frustration.
When I started preparing my LX for the trail, I couldn’t find a dash-mounting system that matched the vehicle. The available options were bulky, generic, and looked out of place inside a thoughtfully designed interior.
So I built my own.
The result was a low-profile dash mounting rail designed to blend naturally into the cabin, provide dependable mounting options, and withstand real-world off-road use. After sharing it with the J200 community, I discovered that other owners were looking for the same thing.
That first dash mount became the beginning of Leather & Dirt.

Our Dashmount and Emblems products are designed and made in California in small batches, allowing us to stay close to the process and pay careful attention to the details.
