It all started when I brought home my first J200 Lexus LX, ready to hit the trails. I expected to find sleek, high-quality accessories made for luxury SUVs like mine — but instead, I was met with bulky, generic parts that didn’t match the interior or feel OEM at all.

So, I built my own.

The first piece was a low-profile dash mounting rail — designed to blend in, look factory-installed, and hold up to rugged off-road use. It worked so well, I shared it with the J200 community. That’s how Leather & Dirt was born.
